Senator Taylor offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, lines 2 - 3: Delete "relating to a constitutional amendment concerning victims of crime" Insert "proposing constitutional amendments relating to the rights of victims of crimes and to criminal administration" Page 1, lines 7 - 10: Delete "relating to a constitutional amendment concerning victims of crime, by inserting "and to penal administration" on page 1, line 2, following "victims" in the title of the version that passed the House" 1994-05-05 Senate Journal Page 4391 SCR 19 Insert "so that the title is `Proposing amendments to the Constitution of the State of Alaska relating to the rights of victims of crimes and to criminal administration.'" Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Without objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. The question being: "Shall SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 19 am Suspending Uniform Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e) of the Alaska State Legislature concerning House Joint Resolution No. 43, proposing constitutional amendments relating to the rights of victims of crimes and to criminal administration, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCR 19 am Second Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 20 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Adams, Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Frank, Halford, Jacko, Kelly, Kerttula, Leman, Lincoln, Little, Miller, Pearce, Phillips, Rieger, Salo, Sharp, Taylor, Zharoff and so, SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 19 am passed the Senate and was referred to the Secretary for engrossment.
